Oh how I love to walk in the woods near our home in Alaska. The other day I came across this sweet and sturdy log and mossy shelter.
Timing was great as in my year-long storytelling and puppetry course our month's focus was protection shelters. We were tutored by our instructor, Suzanne Down, to create a hollow stump, a mouse, and a gnome. I found my inspiration for crafting and creating a story from the mossy shelter image adding the little mouse and woodland gnome.
